Leeds United have been quite unlucky when it comes to promotion since their fall in the 2022/23 campaign. Following a series of rapid manager changes, The Whites were doomed to get relegated that season.
Since then things have changed though but a few pints of bad luck has continued at Elland Road. Daniel Farke was appointed manager for the 2023/24 season and Leeds United were almost back in the Premier League by the end of the campaign.
Although a narrow loss to Southampton in the playoff finals proved to be the decider for the non-top two finishers. Following last season’s shenanigans, the German manager has decided to avoid the playoff gamble at all costs and The Whites are in full force aiming for a top-two finish.

Following a devastating blow to his ankle, Largie Ramazani will be out for an estimated four to six weeks. This is a big blow for Daniel Farke as depth upfront will be depleted.
Talking to BBC, Ramazani recently opened up about Leeds United’s promotion dreams. However, the winger was a bit doubtful and wanted some time before giving a concrete opinion.
“I can’t tell yet. I haven’t faced all the teams so far. When I’ve seen everyone I will give you an answer. But, definitely, we are one of the top sides in the league. We have a great team, a great manager and we have the players and everything we need to go up”, Ramazani told BBC.
The former Belgian U21 international was cautiously optimistic in his statement stating he could only decide after facing all the sides in the English second tier.
However, also Ramazani acknowledged the fact that Leeds United remain one of the strongest teams in the league despite a shaky start to the season.

With Ramazani injured and Patrick Bamford set for a move to the top, Leeds United have reignited interest in former Liverpool academy winger Ryan Kent.
A depleting frontline is enough reason for Daniel Farke to sign reinforcements. Recent reports have also suggested a shrunken interest from former employers Rangers putting Leeds in a decent spot.
Any new signings will only be after Bamford’s departure and Farke will be keen on deepening the frontline with another injury on the card.
