Leeds United were left disappointed by their 2-1 defeat against Tottenham at Elland Road on Saturday. However, something happened during the game that could have bigger ramifications for the club and the stadium soon if the FA decide to act.
Daniel Farke was left frustrated with the result after watching his side dominate a strong Tottenham team, only to be punished for missed chances and a few costly defensive errors.
Thomas Frank insisted that his Tottenham side had little trouble and controlled the game, which was exposed by his own players’ words after they left Elland Road.
However, Leeds could face some trouble from the FA following an ugly incident that happened after Mohammed Kudus scored the goal, which turned out to be the winner, in the second half.
The FA must sanction Leeds United – former PGMOL chief

After scoring, the Ghanaian sprinted towards the South Stand to perform his trademark celebration, running up to the advertising boards and sitting on a ball boy’s stool.
The celebration infuriated the Leeds supporters, and one fan reacted by throwing a bottle at the Spurs midfielder in complete rage.
While the bottle missed the Spurs star, he could have suffered a serious head injury if it had hit him, and it would have become a far uglier incident.
Former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett insisted that the incident seriously compromised players’ safety and Leeds must cooperate to find the fan and hand him a lifetime ban from entering Elland Road.
He also believes that Leeds should face tough FA sanctions for failing to control a fan who tried to attack an opposition player.
“Doing that puts the safety of the player and stewards at risk”, Hackett told MOTD Leeds News.
“Leeds United, as a club, must take stronger action.
“Using the surveillance systems inside the stadium, they should search out the culprits and issue a lifetime ban.
“The Football Association must act and apply the appropriate sanctions.”
Leeds could face a hefty financial fine if the FA decide to review the incident, and that fan is unlikely to enter Elland Road again.
Can you name these 10 former Leeds United defenders?
Why even give this clown a forum to put his old outdated and biased opinions on he was a shite ref at best
Yes. Ban the fan. Football does not need that. But the player has to take some blame too. There were other places he could have ran to. Not to sit in front of fans to taunt them. Knobhead
Pity Hackett couldn’t say the same as you have stated
