Leeds United welcomed back Luis Sinisterra on Friday after he recovered from an ankle injury late last season.
Sinisterra returned Colombia on Monday and worked with the performance and medical staff to get back to full fitness since his summer break. The player turned up for training on Friday, as the club gears up for the upcoming season in the Championship.
The winger sustained the injury against Leicester City at Elland Road in April. It was diagnosed as an ankle ligament damage, and Sinisterra was promptly ruled out for the remainder of the season 48 hours later.
Last season was an injury-laden one for the Colombian, he had hamstring problems and a foot injury before the ankle injury which cut his season short. There is optimism Sinisterra will shine for Leeds, after he produced seven goals in all competitions despite his injuries.
