Junior Firpo and Sam Byram will hold talks with the Whites over new contracts. Both players have their current deals expiring soon.
Byram made it clear during the title celebrations he is open to staying at Elland Road, so there is a high chance he is at the club next season. Firpo on the other hand, has been in talks with multiple clubs across Europe. The latest on his future came up last week when AC Milan reportedly added the left back to their shortlist this summer.
Now, Graham Smyth has revealed that there is an offer on the table for Junior Firpo. The details of the deal indicate that he will be getting a pay rise on his current deal in the Championship. The report adds that the belief around the club is that Firpo has the final say now that the deal has been offered. He now has to choose between staying or leaving.
Left back is still a priority
Regardless of if Firpo goes or stays, the club needs another experienced left back. His current deputy is Isaac Schmidt, who is more of an all round players who can fill in at the position. Leeds could do with another natural left back, after Farke played Schmidt in a variety of roles at the end of this season.
