Leeds United managed to score 95 goals on their way to winning the Championship. They will now face the daunting task of the Premier League next season.
One thing the club needs to work on is adding quality depth. Lee Sharpe mentioned that sometimes, having quality in reserve could prove the difference at the top level. Daniel Farke was a bit stubborn last season, as he relied on a small core of players. It kind of backfired at some points in the campaign when key players were out due to injury.
Now the Leeds boss will have to adapt to using a bigger squad next year.

Leeds United target speaks on future

The Whites have been looking at targets as they aim to add some firepower to the attack. Interest in Jamie Vardy and Callum Wilson grows, but other names are in the mix.
Kasper Dolberg’s name popped up over the last week. There were claims that Leeds could tempt the striker away from Anderlecht. That now looks unlikely after the 27-year old’s latest comments on his future.
He told La Derniere Heure (via Footnews): “I still have two seasons left on my contract. I assume I will stay,”
The belief around his camp is that he will be an Anderlecht player next season.
Dolberg was never a realistic target
Anderlecht ended their season in a Europa League qualification spot. Dolberg is fine and happy in Belgium and has finally found some consistency in his career. Having been moved around for the past few years, settling at Anderlecht is his priority.
Moving to a relegation threatened side in England would not be a great move. Dolberg and Anderlecht could be playing in Europe next season. Leeds need to focus on players who are willing to join, and know the situation ahead of the club in the Premier League.
It will be difficult, but they will definitely find some options.
