Leeds United have made a solid start to life in the Premier League, and the club are putting plans in place to boost their chances of survival further through reinforcements in the winter transfer window.
The Whites have eight points from their opening six league games and are not looking like a side that may struggle to survive in the Premier League this season due to the competitive and resilient nature of their football.
However, Daniel Farke is aware that his squad have holes that could get exposed over the course of a full season, and he wants to plug those gaps when the transfer window reopens in January.
Leeds have plans in place to sign an attacking midfielder and a winger in the winter window, and they have received a boost in the pursuit of one of their top targets, Roma star Lorenzo Pellegrini.
The manager has told Leeds United transfer target to leave

Pellegrini has a year left on his contract at Roma, and Leeds are interested in getting their hands on him in the January transfer window.
The Yorkshire giants are aware of his contract situation and believe Roma will be keen to move him on when the window reopens this winter.
According to TEAMTalk, Roma manager Gianpiero Gasperini told the midfielder to seek a new adventure to boost his chances of breaking into the Italy squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Pellegrini has come to the fore for Roma in recent games, but he is still not a big part of Gasperini’s plans at the Stadio Olimpico moving forward.
He will only have six months on his contract in the winter window, and Roma are expected to sell the 29-year-old in Janaury to earn a fee from his sale.
Leeds believe Pellegrini is an attainable target in January if they can convince him to move to Elland Road for that attacking midfield slot.
Leeds also want a winger
Farke also wants to bring in a new winger, and Leeds are expected to try to revive a deal to sign Fulham winger Harry Wilson in the winter transfer window.
Fulham want to offer him a new contract, but Leeds are not completely out of the race to sign the Welsh attacker in January.
However, they have other targets as the Whites are also keeping tabs on Internacional’s Brazil Under-20 winger Gustavo Prado.
