Manchester United have emerged as a real threat to Leeds United’s summer transfer plans due to their interest in Karl Darlow.

Despite West Ham’s relegation from the Premier League last season, Crysencio Summerville’s stock went up after he looked like one of the most effective attackers in the top flight in the latter half of the campaign.
The Dutchman further barnished his reputation during the World Cup, and the Netherlands’ ouster in the round of 32 has not impacted his value.
He is expected to leave West Ham this summer, and Manchester United are among the clubs who are interested in signing the former Leeds star.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Manchester United have opened direct talks with West Ham to discuss a deal to sign the winger this summer.
The discussions are still at an early stage and remain exploratory, with both clubs sounding each other out as they assess the possibility of reaching an agreement.
However, Manchester United have a serious interest in him and are keen to understand the financial aspects of a potential move.
A deal will be dependent on the Red Devils selling Marcus Rashford this summer.
West Ham could hike their asking price
West Ham have already proven that they are not going to be any pushovers in the market despite suffering relegation from the Premier League.
They stuck to their guns on Mateus Fernandes’ valuation and got Tottenham to pay a straight £85m fee without any add-ons for the Portuguese midfielder.
Manchester United have already lost out on one top target due to West Ham’s insistence on getting the price they want, and negotiations for Summerville are unlikely to be any easier.
West Ham slapped an early asking price of £50m on Summerville following their relegation. However, he impressed at the World Cup, and the market has inflated.
It would come as little surprise if West Ham raised their asking price, encouraged further competition and ultimately sold the Dutchman to the highest bidder.
