Leeds United have had some amazing players come and go over the last few seasons. The Elland Road crowd have had their fair share of cult heroes and fan favourites.
But with the Whites’ fanbase, when you win their hearts, you win them forever. Raphinha was the last ‘big’ signing that had the home crowd on their feet. The Brazilian set Elland Road alight, as one of the more exciting players in the Premier League. Leeds had to sell him when Barcelona came calling.
Manor Solomon had a similar effect this campaign. After missing close to a year of football with injuries, the winger joined the Whites on loan for this season and the rest is history – 10 goals and 12 assists in the league. Who could forget the 91st minute winner to win the league title? The 25-year old wrote his name in the history books that day.

Sadly for Leeds fans, his deal was only a loan and he returned to his club at the end of the season. Solomon credits Daniel Farke with bringing him to the club and bringing the best out of him.
Leeds have been pushing to sign the Spurs forward on a permanent deal these last few weeks. But it looks like there is a complication now. TBR Football have revealed there is an issue when it comes to Spurs’ valuation of Manor Solomon. The London club want a £20 million fee while Leeds want to sign the player for a fee of around £15 million.
Leeds need to get the deal done
The club need to be aware that they are not the only suitors for Solomon. Just last week, reports from France name Marseille as serious contenders. The Ligue 1 side have reportedly made contact with the player’s representatives over a move.
This is not a transfer Leeds should miss out on – the player is open and ready to move to Elland Road. Daniel Farke and the club must do everything possible to sign him.
