Marcelo Bielsa lined up by European giants for sensational move

Marcelo Bielsa is reportedly one of nine men on a shortlist to take over at Barcelona.

The 66-year-old has taken Leeds United from Championship dwellers to Premier League mid-table and could soon be eyed by the Spanish giants with Ronald Koeman set to be sacked.

Cuatro say that Bielsa is one of nine managers that Barcelona are considering – with Xavi, Thierry Henry and Andrea Pirlo also on the list.

Also on the list, are Roberto Martinez, Erik Ten Hag, Antonio Conte, Sergi Barjuan and Albert Capellas, but Bielsa is out of contract in June 2022 after being famed for taking short-term deals.

Bielsa could be tempted with a “good offer” according to Cuatro.
