Rhinos pair Richie Myler and Brad Dwyer have both been named in the Super League Team of The Week following the heroic comeback to beat Catalans Dragons in France on Saturday.

Magnificent Myler

Myler, who is a former Dragon, guided the resurgence with a hat-trick of tries in just 15 minutes!

The 32-year-old is primarily used as a backup option in the squad but with five tries and seven assists in July alone, he is really putting his name in the mix to be a regular starter in the team.

Dominating Dwyer

Dwyer, who started from the bench, came on in the 47th minute and led the team to an emphatic comeback with a try and 21 tackles.

The hooker is off contract at the end of the year, and with Rohan Smith confirming he won’t be at Leeds next year, Dwyer would be a good pick-up for any Super League team.

Surely Smith?

Again Cameron Smith was in brilliant form and played a key role in the Rhinos win. He made 134 metres and a huge break to set up Richie Myler’s first of three tries and the first try in the immense comeback.

The Rhinos face Salford on Sunday afternoon at Headingley. The Red Devils come into the game on the back of a gigantic win, beating league leaders St Helens 44-12.
