Leeds United fans are waiting patiently for the club to sort out all the issues and finalise the arrival of their first signing of the summer.
The club confirmed a major departure on Tuesday evening when Pascal Struijk’s sale to Brighton was announced after all the formalities of the transfer were completed.
Leeds secured an agreement to sign Harry Wilson on a free transfer last week, and the Welshman has signed a four-year contract with the Yorkshire giants. However, there has been no official announcement.
But that is expected to change soon, and Wilson’s arrival is expected to be confirmed by the club imminently after a major development on that front.

However, the announcement has been delayed because the Welshman remained under contract with Fulham until the end of June.
That changed last night, when he officially became a free agent when his contract with Fulham expired at midnight on Tuesday night.
Leeds are now free to announce the arrival of the 29-year-old winger, and an announcement is expected to be made imminently.
The Whites have worked hard to convince the winger to move to Elland Road, and managed to see off severe competition for his signature this summer.
Leeds had to wait almost a year to sign Wilson after he was on the verge of joining the Whites last summer, only for Fulham to pull the plug on a deal at the last minute.
He will fix a key problem for Leeds
Leeds United often lacked a cutting edge in possession last season.
Daniel Farke built a well-organised side that was difficult to break down and dangerous on the counter, but whenever Leeds were asked to dominate the ball, they frequently struggled to create enough clear-cut chances.
That helps explain why the 49ers are so keen to bring in players such as Harry Wilson and Julian Brandt this summer.
Both offer the kind of creativity Leeds have been missing. The current midfield is packed with industrious, defensive-minded and box-to-box players, but it lacks someone capable of consistently unlocking defences in the final third.
Wilson, in particular, looks like a player who could make an immediate impact. Registering 11 goals and eight assists for a struggling Fulham side last season underlines the quality he would bring to Elland Road.
His versatility is another major plus. Whether deployed in midfield or further forward, Wilson would give Farke another creative option and add a different dimension to Leeds’ attacking play.
I really hope he gives us that creative left footed right winger delivery that our big men can connect with. If nothing else he is an alternative to Gnonto and James.
