Leeds United continue to search for a new number one just days after the transfer window opened. The club have been linked with a host of names over the last month.
Just this week, it has been reported that Aaron Ramsdale is back on the shortlist of the club. No official approach has been made, but it is expected that Leeds will assess some options to see if they will eventually make a move for the Southampton stopper.
Swedish keeper Noel Törnqvist has also added to rumours of a possible move this week, saying that England could be a potential destination.
”England and Italy are probably the main destinations that I have had since I was little. We’ll see what happens.”

Nick Pope latest on Leeds United links

Reports this week have suggested that Leeds could move for Newcastle star Nick Pope. The England keeper is rumoured to be on his way out of St. James’ Park after plans to sign Burnley keeper James Trafford were reported. So far, there are only links and the Magpies have not made an official approach, but they are expected to attempt a move later this summer. So Leeds will have to wait on an opening to make the move.
Football Insider’s latest report could prove a huge blow for the Whites. According to sources, Nick Pope is not keen on a move to West Yorkshire, and could decide to stay at the club even if they sign James Trafford.
Leeds now have to see what unfolds across the summer.
Club can try for other targets
Nick Pope is a great keeper, but if other reports are to be believed, Leeds have other options on their shortlist. When one door closes, another opens.
Daniel Farke and the club still have a lot of time to bring in a new shot stopper this summer.
