Leeds United and Daniel Farke got off to a brilliant start to the season on Monday night when they beat Everton at Elland Road. The club have backed up that result in the transfer market, and they have announced the arrival of Noah Okafor from AC Milan.
Going into the new season, Leeds were among the favourites to go straight back down to the Championship. Promoted teams have not fared well in the Premier League in recent campaigns, and the Whites are still expected to suffer the same fate by the end of the 2025/26 season.
However, the win on Monday night, albeit against a poor Everton side, has energised the players and the fans, and the club are prepared to try and buck the trend and survive in their first year back in the top flight.
The club have signed nine new players, including Noah Okafor from AC Milan, and he is expected to be registered in time to be in the squad to take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.

Farke is aware of the challenge Leeds are going to face when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, but he now has another weapon in his armoury.
Okafor has completed a £18m move from AC Milan to join Leeds on a four-year contract, with an option of another year.
He has added more depth to Leeds’ wide options, as Farke has been clear about signing one more winger all summer.
“Noah fits. He is of the perfect age and has played for two big clubs in Italy”, Farke said in a press conference.
“He is a player of high potential and has all the skills. We will provide him with all the backing and a good stage to find a bit more consistency.
“If he uses his potential and focuses and concentrates, and with hard work, he has all the skills to make an impact at this level and for Leeds United.”
Okafor will train for the first time with his new Leeds United teammates later this afternoon.
