Norwich City are willing to cash out on Jonathan Rowe as the winger has only 12 months left on his contract. Leeds United have been following the winger’s situation since their encounter with Norwich regarding Gabriel Sara.
This comes in as good news for The Whites as they’d like to bring in a new winger following Crysencio Summerville’s departure. After the win against Valencia, Daniel Farke himself said that they were searching for the Dutchman’s replacement.
“We have to be aware to bring a player in, in his position definitely, but as a team and a group we have to make sure we share his goals and assists.”
“To bring a new player in who will be the new best player in this league will be pretty difficult, you can’t have so much money as you need to spend in order to bring in a new Summerville.”
-Daniel Farke
Previously it was reported that The 49ers had made a verbal offer of Ā£7 million for the winger. The Canaries deemed it low considering the player’s potential.
Later, Wolverhampton Wanderers entered talks showing interest in the winger. This was bad news as Leeds was in no form to compete against a Premier League club.
Luckily, Wolves have withdrawn their interest which will be a sigh of relief for Farke and Co. Although, they’ll have to move quickly because there are also other clubs in the market.

Norwich ready to cash out on Jonathan Rowe
According to football expert Graeme Bailey, Jonathan Rowe came up in talks of Gabriel Sara. Talking to LeedsUnited.News he also claimed that The Canaries are willing to let him go but Leeds would like a deal below Ā£10 million.
“Leeds are talking to Norwich about Rowe, came up in Sara talks. Iām told they want him for less than Ā£10m overall and it seems they are willing to let him go.”

This gives another advantage to The West Yorkshire outfit as they’d like to seal the deal for a price as low as possible. Rowe’s contract length and his wages too can be used against The Canaries.
Rowe himself had a strong first impression while playing at Elland Road which does Leeds more favours.
“Elland Road had the most noise that I can remember. It was a crazy game. Even though we lost I was just in awe of the atmosphere.”
“I couldn’t believe it, this was what my dream was literally about. Even though we lost, it was just like, ‘wow’.”
