Leeds United have reportedly began work behind the scenes to bring in quality player ahead of next season. The club has its eyes on multiple targets as they look to survive their first season back in the Premier League.
Leeds have been so good under Daniel Farke in his two seasons in charge. The club have had consecutive seasons with some of the best attacking numbers in the league. Last year, the team had Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter, so the numbers were understandable.
But this season, the club are without these three and managed to score 89 goals. There have been questions about the individual players in attack, but as a whole, Leeds are great.

Heading into the Premier League, questions remain about Joel Piroe and his goalscoring. The forward has 19 league goals this season, and is expected to be first choice next year. But Leeds are already in the market to add support in attack. The Whites will look to Borja Sainz, and will tempt Norwich City to make a deal possible.
Pundit Don Goodman thinks Leeds would be a good move for Sainz, and has urged the Spaniard to leave Norwich and join the Elland Road club:
“It’s been a poor season for Norwich City and I suppose you’d say that it’s hard to be convinced that even if Borja Sainz stays that Norwich will be fighting at the top end of the Championship next season,” he told FLW.
“Having had such a stellar season, I’m pretty confident that Sainz would want to try to play Premier League football or very high-end football in Europe.
“Obviously, Leeds United would offer Premier League football, so it would be a no-brainer if you ask me.
“If that is an option for Sainz to leave Norwich for Leeds, then why wouldn’t he take it?”
Leeds need firepower to survive the Premier League
Borja Sainz has 18 goals in all competitions this season, that would put him in the top two of Leeds’ top scorers. This season, the Whites have had only two players cross 10 league goals, Joel Piroe and Dan James.
Signing a star like Sainz will only help boost the numbers. To survive in the Premier League you need goals, something the 24-year old Spaniard provides playing across the attack.
