Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has provided an update on the injury news of winger Daniel James. The Welshman picked up an ankle problem earlier this week in training.
The Whites fans have been waiting with bated breath for any news around the winger after it emerged earlier this week that he picked up a serious injury in training with Leeds.
There was speculation that it could have been a knee injury, with rumours suggesting that he could be out for months or the whole season. However, those fears were clarified by Wales boss Craig Bellamy.
Leeds later put out a statement revealing that the winger suffered an ankle injury and the club were not expecting it to be a major or long-term problem. Now Farke has provided a definitive update.
Daniel Farke confirms the Daniel James injury news

Farke has addressed the James issue in his pre-match conference ahead of the Tottenham game at Elland Road on Saturday.
The Leeds boss conceded that James will be out for close to six weeks and is only likely to be back after the November international break.
He also admitted that Wilfried Gnonto has still not recovered from his calf injury.
“I have to confirm that Daniel James will be out for a few weeks, he said in a press conference.
“He is likely out for four to six weeks. We expect him back after the November international break.
“Not great news.
“Willy Gnonto will also miss the game as his calf problem has not been sorted.
“He will be back after this international break.”
