Micah Richards was full of praise for Leeds forward Wilfried Gnonto despite their loss to Man United at Elland Road.
The Whites flew out of the gates on Sunday afternoon, but their inability to convert chances was their undoing. Two late goals from Marcus Rashford, and Alejandro Garnacho gave the Red Devils the win.
Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards was impressed with Gnonto on the day, highlighting the winger’s ability to create chaos with his dribbling:
“This lad, Gnonto – he is a livewire. Absolutely brilliant. He’s outstanding,” the Manchester City legend said before today’s clash.
“You just look at created chances, dribbles, he’s got absolutely everything. You know what it is? He’s fearless. When he comes on the pitch he’s like ‘I’m going to run at you, I don’t care which defender I’m playing against – I’m going to go both ways’. He’s been one of the signings of the season, excellent.”
The Italian has two goals and one assist in the Premier League this season, with exciting performances to match. The future is bright for the youngster.
