Having been called up to the England squad for the current batch of World Cup qualifiers this month, Patrick Bamford will have the opportunity to make his debut tonight.
The three lions take on Hungary in their first match since tasting defeat in the Euro 2020 final against Italy, where England were defeated on penalties following misses from Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka.
Patrick Bamford was called up to the squad alongside Harry Kane and Dominic Calvert-Lewin among the strikers, but with Calvert-Lewin withdrawing from the squad due to injury, a Bamford appearance seems inevitable.
It seems unlikely that Harry Kane will play every minute of these games, meaning Bamford is now in line to make his England debut.
