Patrick Bamford left Leeds United in the summer after the club mutually agreed to terminate his contract. The former White is now on the verge of agreeing to join his new club in the coming days.
Bamford was not happy with the way his departure was handled over the summer. Daniel Farke forced him out of the first-team squad, and he trained with the Udfer-21s during pre-season.
Eventually, towards the end of the transfer window, Leeds decided to let him leave the club as a free agent after receiving zero offers for the former Chelsea and Middlesbrough striker.
Bamfod had offers from the Championship and even considered a move to the MLS. However, he is set to play in one of the best leagues in Europe this season.

Bamford vs Raphinha soon?
Bamford has had injury issues in recent seasons, and it was one of the reasons why Farke chose not to trust him with a place in the squad in the summer.
However, a move to Spain could be what he needs at this stage of his career as he former Leeds striker looks to prove his detractors wrong this season.
Once the deal goes through, Bamford will be part of a Getafe team who have won three of their opening five league games and are sitting eighth in the league table in Spain.
He could soon face his former Leeds teammates Largie Ramazani and Mateo Joseph, but a more tasty encounter for the Whites fans will be Bamford vs Raphinha sometime later in the season.
