Patrick Bamford has yet to find a new club since leaving Leeds United towards the end of the summer transfer window. Several moves were underway, but it has emerged that he has been cruelly blocked from completing one of the transfers.
Leeds United manager Daniel Farke made it clear early in the summer that Bamford was not part of his plans for the Premier League, and he trained with the Under-21s as the rest of the first-team squad underwent pre-season training in Germany.
The club ultimately decided to terminate his contract and paid him off to leave the club as a free agent towards the end of the summer transfer window, and since then, he has been trying to find a new club.
Bamford was unhappy with the way his exit from Leeds was handled, but he is looking forward to a new chapter in his career. However, he has been blocked from completing a move to La Liga this season.
Getafe coach rejected the chance to sign Patrick Bamford

Bamford’s representatives were in advanced negotiations with Getafe last month, and a deal was close for the Spanish club to sign him on a free transfer.
However, the trail went cold over the last few weeks, and it has emerged that the transfer didn’t happen for one key reason.
According to journalist Mateo Moretto, Getafe coach Jose Bordalas was strictly against the idea of signing the former Leeds United striker on a free transfer.
José Bordalás descartó definitivamente la opción de fichar a Patrick Bamford.
El delantero estuvo muy cerca del Getafe, solo faltaba el visto bueno definitivo del entrenador.

Getafe were prepared to finalise a deal, and Bamford was ready to start a fresh chapter in the Spanish top flight this season.
However, Bordalas stepped in and blocked a deal for Getafe to sign the 32-year-old forward on a free transfer.
The Getafe head coach is keen to bring in a forward to improve his squad, but Bamford is not the striker he is interested in signing at this stage of the campaign.
Bamford has suitors in the MLS and the Championship. However, no deal has materialised and the 32-year-old is still searching for a new club.
