Paul Robinson makes massive prediction on key Leeds United decision – Leeds fans will agree with him

Leeds United are fire-fighting as they seek to get their season back on track this week. The Leeds players are under serious pressure ahead of facing Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Saturday. A win will be a huge boost for the team, but anything less than three points could lead to a real meltdown.

Daniel Farke and the Leeds United players are working hard behind the scenes to ensure they are prepared to get all three points at Kenilworth Road this weekend.

One win in five games means Leeds need a result at Luton to calm down a jittery fanbase who are afraid that last season could get repeated again this year.

Questions are being raised about Farke as well, who has been accused of remaining loyal to certain players to the extent of damaging the team, and his future at Leeds is under scrutiny.

Paul Robinson makes a big prediction on a decision Leeds United will have to make soon

Farke kept his job at Leeds last summer despite the team losing the playoff final and failing to get promoted to the Premier League.

However, his future at Leeds has come under a fresh scanner as the team appear to be stumbling in their efforts to earn automatic promotion this season.

Robinson insisted that it was the right decision to give Farke one more chance last year, but insisted that the German will be shown the door if Leeds do not get promoted.

“The only thing he can do is earn promotion. Farke’s got to get promoted to the Premier League to save his job”, the ex-Leeds star told MOT Leeds News.

“Let’s not forget, this is the second opportunity that Daniel Farke’s had as well. He’s been given another opportunity this season, and I can understand why.

“You look at his CV, and you look at how close they came last year. Disappointing playoff defeat against Southampton. Giving him another year, this year, is looking like the right thing to do. I still believe that they’ll get it over the line, but I think that if they don’t go up, there’ll be a managerial change.”

Farke will have no place to hide if Leeds don’t get promoted

Leeds have been termed the best team in the Championship this season, and Farke deserves credit for rebuilding the squad last summer.

The Whites also, by far, have the highest wage bill in the Championship, and it is no surprise that they have been prime promotion contenders.

However, if Leeds still fail to get promoted this season, Farke would have no place to hide as he has been in complete control of the team without any interference.

His decision to back players such as Illan Meslier and Brenden Aaronson will come under scrutiny if Leeds are again in the Championship next season.

The German cannot have any complaints if Leeds decide to sack him in the event of the Whites not getting promoted.
