Leeds United could soon be without two players who were at the club last season. This pre-season camp has given Daniel Farke the opportunity to shape the squad.
Many players have been left in the UK as they know the club’s plans do not involve them. Farke revealed that Patrick Bamford will not be a part of his plans next season, prompting news of a potential exit.
Mateo Joseph also asked the Leeds United boss for a transfer; the Spain U21 international did not make the trip to Germany and is currently in the UK. Real Betis have shown interest, but the Whites maintain their stance is that they will not sell the 21-year old.
Recent reports of the club adding a new striker seem to be concrete, as Farke knows he will be without two options from the last campaign.

Callum Wilson agrees terms with West Ham
Wilson announced his departure from Newcastle over a month ago. The striker rejected a new contract from the Magpies as he sought a move to a club he could get playing time.
Callum Wilson was one of the strikers Leeds United held talks with in their search for a new striker:
“Leeds aren’t panicking, they’re letting the market come to them.
“They’re one of the teams that’s held talks with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and they’ve talked to Callum Wilson at various points this summer too.” Bailey revealed over a week ago.

TalkSport have reported that Wilson has agreed personal terms with West Ham, and could complete a move soon. The striker’s agent reportedly pushed for the deal, using his connections to the Hammers’ owner David Sullivan.
Leeds United in search of center forward
The search for a new center forward continues as the club has lost one of it’s targets.
Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz seems to be the priority. The London club know of Leeds’ interest, and the player is open to a move, but the club are yet to make an approach. The Whites had a bid rejected early in the transfer window and have not returned.
Much more quality up top for next season
Regardless of who comes through the door in the next couple of weeks, what is certain is that Leeds will have quality up front. Last season, Joel Piroe only had Bamford and Mateo Joseph as backups. The duo only contributed three goals in the Championship.

Lukas Nmecha is now in the team to provide some depth. He offers a much more wide skillset than Piroe; and it could be seen in flashes against Manchester United.
