Personal terms agreed – Leeds United await green light from selling club

Daniel Farke and his Leeds United players are focused on their big Premier League opener tonight. The Whites are set to host Everton at Elland Road under the lights to kick off their league campaign in the top tier of English football. However, behind the scenes, the hierarchy are concentrating their efforts to add more players to the squad.

The Leeds boss is happy with the arrival of Dominic Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer, but has made it clear that the former Everton star cannot be the last addition to their attack this summer. The club hope to bring in more attackers before the transfer window closes on September 1st.

The Whites hope to add one more striker, in addition to the winger, the attacking midfielder and the full-back club have plans to sign before the end of the transfer window.

Leeds have thrashed out personal terms on a contract with AC Milan winger Noah Okafor, but a deal is far from being agreed upon for him to move to Elland Road this summer.

Can you name these 10 former Leeds United strikers?

Leeds United are waiting on AC Milan, who have set transfer conditions for Noah Okafor

Noah Okafor has given his agreement to a move to Leeds and is keen to move to Elland Road in the ongoing summer transfer window.

However, a deal is not in place between the two clubs, and Leeds are now waiting to work out an agreement with the Serie A giants in the coming days.

According to Italian broadcaster Sportmediaset, AC Milan have set one very important condition for the winger’s probable departure this summer.

Leeds should forget about their chances of signing him on loan, as it has been claimed that AC Milan are only interested in selling Okafor in the coming days.

The Rossoneri have ruled out loaning out the winger, and are only interested in entertaining offers of a sale for the player before the end of the transfer window.

Leeds have continued to hold talks with AC Milan, who are looking to get somewhere around £15m from his sale.

Leeds are still not completely sold on Okafor

A loan move would have made more sense for Leeds, given the fact that they are wary of the winger’s fitness issues this summer.

Okafor has failed a few medicals, and his injury issues are giving the Whites a pause for thought in their pursuit of the winger in the ongoing transfer window.

However, Leeds have left it to the medical team to make the final call on the winger if the club reach an agreement with AC Milan this summer.

It remains to be seen whether Leeds finally secure a deal to sign the AC Milan winger before the end of the transfer window.
