Gary Neville poured praise towards Leeds for their performance at home on Wednesday night and feels Elland Road gives the Whites a real chance of survival.
He conceded that he is looking forward to returning to Elland Road to watch Liverpool face the music against Leeds on Saturday.
“Leeds have been excellent. They look like a real tough team to play against tonight, and in front of this crowd, it gives them a real chance this season”, Neville said on Sky Sports.
“Chelsea clearly did not prepare for what Elland Road is about. They have been taught a harsh lesson here tonight that in the Premier League, you have to be ready.
“But Leeds tonight were excellent, they needed this, the manager needed this. It gives them something to build on this season, and next, they have Liverpool.
“I’m looking forward to seeing them against Liverpool on Saturday. Who would have thought I would be looking forward to coming back to Elland Road? But I am, they are going to give it a real go.”
What’s ahead for Leeds?

However, Leeds still have a tough set of games coming up. Liverpool come to town to take on the Whites at Elland Road on Saturday for a big game.
