Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Bogusz has today joined La Liga 2 side UD Ibiza on loan for the entire 2021/22 season.
The 19-year-old has made three first-team appearances for the Whites and is thought of highly at Elland Road, but the club’s hierechy have decided another loan switch is best for the player’s development at this stage.
Bogusz spent last season on loan at fellow Spanish side UD Logrones where he made 23 appearances and scored one goal.
He has also made 27 youth appearances for Poland, scoring two goals in three games for his national side at under-21 level.
UD Ibiza enjoyed a solid season last time out, beating Barcelona B to top Group 3 of the Segunda Division B, and they will fancy their chances of another successful season with Bogusz predicted to excel in the Balearic island.
