Leeds United have a much different attacking unit than what they had last season. Many fans expected more signings in that area to end the last window, but the Whites failed to add reinforcements.
Even in pre-season, Daniel Farke pointed out that the club’s one weakness is in the offence. Leeds have shown this season that they can hold teams of a higher quality. The defence and midfield have had some quality additions, and it has shown in the games so far. The Whites have gotten clean sheets against Everton and Newcastle United.
But there is clearly a problem up top; Leeds have managed just two goals in four goals in all competitions. Lukas Nmecha has been the only attacker to have found the back of the net this season, Jayden Bogle is the only other scorer.

Leeds made a last ditch attempt to sign Harry Wilson on deadline day. This came after the club failed with moves for Bilal El Khannouss and Facundo Buonanotte. The Argentine decided to join Chelsea at the last minute, even after the Whites had an initial agreement with Brighton.
The move for Wilson failed, when Fulham pulled the plug at the deadline. There was a lot of frustration among the fanbase, which lead to Leeds Managing Director Robbie Evans speaking to the media about the transfer window.
Fulham boss Marco Silva has been speaking on his attackers ahead of the game on Saturday. According to him, Harry Wilson is a player who can find a lot of solutions in wide areas on the pitch:
We believe the profiles of Chukwueze and Kevin will add to what we’ve been looking for in those areas of the pitch,” Silva said during his press conference.
“With Adama, Harry Wilson and Alex Iwobi, they’re going to be our solutions for the wide areas of the pitch.
“Him (Kevin) and Chukwueze are going to help us.”
Silva’s side will have their new trio of signings available, while Leeds will welcome back Ethan Ampadu and Ao Tanaka from injury.
