According to The Athletic, Jack Harrison has a release clause in his new five-year-deal he signed last month.

The clause will reportedly see him available to Premier League clubs at a good value. Harrison has been a long term target for both Newcastle and Leicester City over the past year.

The 26-year-old almost left the club on deadline day in January having travelled down to Leicester City to undergo a medical. The club reportedly pulled the plug on the deal, and a few weeks later started talks on a new contract.

The Englishman has four goals and seven assists in 35 league games this season; the second highest tally in the Leeds team.

Harrison has been at Leeds since 2018, having made over a 180 appearances for the club in all competitions. If Leeds do eventually go down, his five-year stay at Elland Road may come to an end. The Whites will have to pull off a result against Tottenham on the final day of the season to secure survival.
