Many teams in the Premier League, including Leeds United, will have a fair idea of how their season could go for the rest of the year. The Whites went into the international break with some optimism.

Leeds had four points from three games heading into the break. But the result against Fulham has raised more questions over the team, especially in attack. The Whites are yet to score an open play goal in the Premier League this season. Lukas Nmecha is the only attacker at the club who has scored a goal, albeit from the penalty spot.

Daniel Farke’s side go into this weekend desperate for a positive result, and will be confident of one against Wolves. Vitor Pereira’s side are yet to record a single point in the league this season.

Another team that has had a poor start to the season is West Ham, the Hammers have lost three of their four Premier League games. There has been a lot of noise surrounding Graham Potter, with the club ownership having to release a statement to the supporters:

”Our focus now is firmly on the future and building a team that can once again compete consistently in domestic competitions and in Europe.

”We have a strong platform from which to continue that quest, in that we are entering our 14th consecutive season in the Premier League – our longest unbroken top-flight run in the modern era.”

Alex Crook has reported that Slaven Bilic has been lined up as a replacement for Potter, who is now certainly under pressure.

Could Leeds United do same?

There are a few reasons why Leeds will not be looking to pull the plug when it comes to Daniel Farke this early in the season. The first, is the poor end to the summer window when they failed to bring in proper attacking reinforcements. Also, the quality of coaches available is not impressive enough to demand such a bold change – very few names are currently better than Farke.

Unless Leeds go on shocking run of poor form, the German will be in charge of the team for the foreseeable future.
