Leeds United faced AC Milan in their final pre-season friendly as they prepared for the new season. The Whites kick off their campaign against Everton on Monday night.
The Serie A side took the lead late in the first half, going into half time with the lead. Leeds then took charge of the game in the second half, before Anton Stach put his side level. That was the new signing’s first goal for the Whites.
A surprising them occured late in the game. When Jack Harrison was subbed on, he was booed with every touch of the ball. Daniel Farke addressed this at the end of the game:
“Jack has all the chances (to win back the fans). Our supporters don’t need my message. This will be a natural thing once he delivers good performances.”

Veteran Premier League commentator has given his thoughts on Leeds fans booing Jack Harrison during the AC Milan game:
“I think fans and clubs and players as well have got to sometimes accept there might be a new era.” he told MOT Leeds News.
“It is not going to be easy at Leeds because there is definitely a fair chunk of the fanbase who feel like he turned his back on them when they went down.
“He has got to change perceptions of him, and the only way he is going to do that is on the pitch. I don’t think he is going to be in Leeds’ starting line-up for the new season
“Although the word is, apparently, there have been a lot of sightings of Farke doing work with him, so it does look like he might have some part to play.
“I think the Leeds fans have probably got to just let bygones be bygones, and judge him on how he performs as of now.
Darke then adds what he has personally heard about Harrison.
“All the word I hear is the guy is a model professional, you know, a pleasure to deal with, extremely popular amongst his teammates wherever he has gone.”
Leeds fans have to deal with Jack Harrison staying this season
Like it or not, Daniel Farke has already made his choice. And the Leeds boss is notorious with sticking to his decision when he makes one. Jack Harrison will be with the team for the upcoming season, the club seem comfortable banking on the fact that his experience at the level will come in handy.
Brenden Aaronson got the same treatment start of last season too But soon forgiven when he scored Shame will happen with Jack harrison He just as to prove himself he want tobe there If he scores and plays well the fans will forgive
Aaronson was different. He went straight away, He didn’t say he was going to stay and then jump at the first offer that came along. He didn’t, along with his mother, slate the club. He opted out twice. He wouldn’t be here now if Everton wanted him back or any other team would have taken him. He is back because he is not wanted by anybody else only. He has no loyalty to Leeds. Aaronson came back because he thought he had unfinished business with Leeds and actually wanted to come back. He knew the reception he would get from the fans but faced it head on. And for me he worked his socks off last season whilst also contributing to goals. Don’t tell me there is a similarity between him and Harrison. Harrison is a total scumbag
