Leeds United are in a good space despite the heartbreak of last season.
Many feared that Leeds would struggle due to the financial blow of not earning promotion last season despite a terrific season for Daniel Farke’s men.
In fact, there were further concerns that Leeds would have their squad picked apart by Premier League sides and that did happen to a degree with Archie Gray heading to Tottenhan Hotspurs for example.
However, for the most part, Leeds were able to retain their top talents but there are concerns that another star could be targeted in January.

Football League World have discussed just how safe Leeds are from transfer moves in January, and Leeds United pundit Kris Smith has identified one concern.
He said:Â “While most would still have a lingering fear that Willy Gnonto might leave, even though he signed a new deal not long ago, for me, the one to worry about in any sense is Pascal Struijk.
“He’s the one vital player that I don’t think this Leeds team can afford to lose. It is built around how good he is at both sides of the game.
“He’s a centre-half who is not only very good in terms of his defensive ability — obviously, forgetting about what happened during the Watford game — but also, he has brilliance with the ball at his feet.
“It’s something which would cause this Leeds team to crumble if it didn’t have it.
“His contract, until 2027, puts us in a strong position for the time being, but given that last season the likes of PSG were sniffing around him, it does tell you all you need to know about how highly he is rated outside of just Leeds as well.”
So something for Leeds fans to worry about, but Smith did say he believes the Whites won’t lose any key players in January though it may become a concern perhaps in Summer especially if promotion again alludes Daniel Farke and his side which would certainly be a devastating blow to the club and their hopes of keeping their top talent.
