Life for Leeds United under the 49ers has been great so far. The club are seeing improvements on the brand to match their status in England. And with the team in the Premier League next season, better things are coming.
The 49ers Enterprises acquired full ownership of Leeds United in 2023. Since then the club has made major strides in the footballing world. Industry giants Red Bull have become shareholders in the club, and are also the current shirt sponsor. Adidas also extended their kit partnership with the Whites – the deal reportedly brought in £10million per season.
On the field, the 49ers have made an impact too. It was their call to hire Daniel Farke, who has successfully guided the team back into the Premier League.

They have also backed the Leeds boss in the transfer market. Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe has promised the fans that the club will spend in the transfer market this summer. So there seems to be a positive future for everyone under this leadership.
Adam Pope has spoken about the great atmosphere at Elland Road heading into the Premier League. He believes that there is a major difference between now, and Andrea Radrizzani’s time in charge:
“The 49ers have already shown they have access to key investors, so their ability to corral capital together to improve the squad and the stadium is far greater than Radrizzani’s. They have deeper pockets.” he said on BBC Sport.

The Italian was far from bad, in fact, he oversaw some of the best moments of the club in recent history. Fans may not totally agree, but the hiring of Victor Orta under the ownership played a huge part in the club’s future. Bielsa was hired, sent the team back to the Premier League, and the rest was history.
