Paul Robinson urges Cody Drameh to leave for first team football

Former Leeds United goalkeeper Paul Robinson says Cody Drameh needs to leave the club for first team football.

The 21-year old has only made one league start this season against Brentford. He has failed to make the Leeds squad in the Premier League since September. Paul Robinson says the best option for Drameh would be a loan move:

“Burnley definitely look like the ones to catch at the top of the Championship. They look like they’re going to win it,”

“If Drameh moves there he’d need an opportunity to play every week.

According to The Athletic, Burnley and Watford are interested in taking the youngster on loan. Robinson says regular football is the way forward for Drameh:

“I’d be cautious of going somewhere you’re not going to play every week because you may as well stay at Leeds.

“But for him personally, if he’s going to go on loan for the rest of the season that he goes to play and doesn’t sit on the bench being a bit-part player.”

Cody Drameh’s contract at Elland Road is up in the summer of 2024, and reports claim that he is not interested in renewing his deal.
