Rodrigo speaks on Leeds United future

Leeds United forward Rodrigo Moreno has declined to comment on his future after recent transfer speculation.

The forward is currently enjoying the offseason after lifting the UEFA Nations League trophy with Spain over the weekend. The 32-year old played the semi-final but missed out on the final with a knock.

Since the club season ended, Rodrigo has been linked with a move back to Spain. Real Madrid were said to be interested before they signed Joselu, and just this week he was linked with a move to Sevilla. A report from spain claims he has a release clause which could see him leave for just €3.5 million.

The Spaniard spoke to Radio Marca, clarifying that nothing has been agreed yet:

“I live in the real world, I have Instagram and friends who read the newspapers. I can’t tell you much beyond what we all know because I don’t know. I am very focused on the national team right now and on the following matches.”

“I don’t know what’s going to happen honestly,” he added. “But I have a contract with Leeds and that has to be respected.”
