Burnley manager Scott Parker is pleased about the amount of time he will get over the international break to work with his new team ahead of taking on promotion rivals Leeds United.
Leeds and Burnley are two of the top contenders to get promoted to the Premier League from the Championship this season and both of them are sitting in the playoff spots after the first four games of the campaign.
The two teams are separated by two spots and a point in the league table and are set to clash just after the international break on 14th September at Elland Road.
A win for either side this early in the season could set them up nicely for automatic promotion from the Championship in the coming months.

Burnley have won two of their opening four games and are sitting sixth in the Championship standings on seven points at this stage of the campaign.
Parker is pleased to get into the international break as it will allow him to take stock of the team given the number of new players he has in the squad.
The Burnley manager is keen to work with the new players and get more time in the training ground over the next week or so before a big game against Leeds.
“It probably does come at a good time, that’s fair to say, just to take a breath and take stock a little bit”, Parker was quoted as saying by the Burnley Express.
“At that point, we can draw a line under where we are and where we’re going to be, that’s probably the key for me.
“At that moment, it’s going to be ‘this is what it is now’ and this is what we’ve got. The challenge now is to work with these players and work with this group.
“We had six weeks of pre-season but this is now almost a whole new team, so we need to do a lot of work, which we will do over the international break which comes at a good time for us, and keep moving together.”
