Leeds United target receives offer from Bundesliga club

Bilal El Khannouss had an agreement in place to join Crystal Palace, but the Eagles walked away from a deal once Leicester City increased their financial demands.

The midfielder has threatened to sit on the stands for the rest of the season if Leicester do not sell him before Monday’s transfer deadline. He was left out of their matchday squad on Friday night.

Leeds held talks with his representatives earlier in the window, and they continue to hold an interest in him without making a concrete offer for him.

However, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke, VfB Stuttgart have tabled an offer to sign him on the transfer deadline.

It has been claimed that the German club have offered a deal worth £26m for the Leicester City attacking midfielder.

The bid is less than the £30m to £35m asking price the Foxes have slapped on the player this summer.

It remains to be seen whether Leeds make an offer for the attacking midfielder before the transfer window closes on Monday night.
