Leeds United have made a decent start to their Premier League season. Despite playing two of last season’s top five in their first three games, they have four points in their bag, which included a battling 0-0 draw against Newcastle United at Elland Road.
The noise around Leeds since the end of the transfer window has overshadowed the solid start the team have made in the Premier League. They have looked short of ideas in the final third, but barring the defeat at Arsenal, the Whites have been solid in defence and midfield, and have shown battling qualities.
With the Whites failing to add to their attack towards the end of the window, Farke and his team will have to show more of that solidity and combative qualities on the pitch to get points on board, until at least the January window.
However, pundits are already predicting that Leeds are likely to finish above the relegation zone based on their performances in the first three league games.

Don Goodman has provided a positive outlook for Leeds United
Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman has pointed out that Leeds will face only one of last season’s top nine in the next six league games, which gives them a chance to have a really good start to the campaign.
He is a fan of the transfer business Leeds conducted over the summer window despite criticism, and believes they have given Farke a better chance of Premier League survival than Norwich did a few years back.
Goodman stressed that Leeds have reasons to take confidence from their early-season competitive performances.
“In their six games, Bournemouth are the only team Leeds play that finished in last season’s top nine. So, the next six games are the chance for Leeds to not only get off to a decent start but to get off to a really, really good start”, Don Goodman told Coinpoker.
“There’s an opportunity for points, and I think they’ll take confidence from how competitive they’ve looked so far.
“I like the business that they’ve done and they are building from, without a shadow of a doubt, the strongest platform that Daniel Farke has ever had the luxury of in the Premier League when compared to his time with Norwich.
“So I’m optimistic, as I said, I’m really pleased with the recruitment and the start that they’ve made at Elland Road. So long may that continue.”
