Leeds United have turned a corner in their last few Premier League games. Right now, they look to be one of the clubs who could escape relegation as the season goes on.

Just over a month ago, they were on a losing streak and Daniel Farke was under serious pressure. Since then, they have gotten big results; beating Chelsea and holding Liverpool to a draw.

On Saturday night, they shocked everyone, beating Oliver Glasner’s Palace side 4-1 at home. It was arguably their best performance in the league this season. Now, the White has put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

Simon Jordan gives Leeds United relegation verdict

Things have shaken up at the bottom of the table after Leeds’ big win against Crystal Palace. Simon Jordan has given his opinion on which club he thinks will be relegated this season:

“I don’t want them relegated because they (West Ham) are a London club but I think if you look at the bottom three, it’s difficult see past them.” he said on TalkSport.

“Leeds have got themselves together; they’ve suddenly made Elland Road a fortress.”

“If you look at the games they’ve just got points out of recently, you’d have thought that they would’ve struggled to get points out of any of those games, given the teams that they’ve played, and they’ve got lots of points out of all of them. Farke has quelled the background noise about his position, changed the way the team are playing and got results.

“Calvert-Lewin put his handbag down and started scoring goals, and Forest are okay, Forest are a good enough side to sail away from relegation challenges.”

Daniel Farke has given fans hope again

After that four game winless run, things were looking bleak for the Whites. But Farke’s changes in the second half against Manchester City seems to have inspired this run of form. The new 3-5-2 shape is working wonders, and it has brought the best out of players like Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Farke is also not afraid to make big changes to the team, playing Brenden Aaronson against Palace worked wonders despite fans complaining about the team selection. Leeds must hope he can keep up this run into the new year and help them survive the drop.
