Leeds caretaker manager Michael Skubala defended Patrick Bamford’s comments after the Nottingham forest defeat.
The striker complained in the post-match presser that he was often isolated against Forest:
“We needed more runners running past me to drag [Forest’s centre-backs] out of position and create a bit more space. The whole game was literally two v one, which made it difficult, and unfortunately I couldn’t find the answers to solve that.”
Caretaker manager Michael Skubala thinks Bamford was just frustrated on the day:
“I think Pat was just being open about what he thought about the situation at the time and how he was playing the game and he thought he was a little bit isolated in that sense. But I think it came from the heart.”
Leeds have scored just one Premier League goal in their last three games, and face Manchester United on Wednesday and again on Sunday.
