Leeds Rhinos head coach Rohan Smith has named a strong 21-man squad for Friday’s semi-final showdown with Wigan Warriors.

Harry Newman is missing after being included in last week’s squad.

Newman could have made his return to the side in Catalans but was not risked by Smith.

Ash Handley and David Fusitu’a are also not included due to their respective injuries.

Morgan Gannon played against the Dragons last week but suffered a head knock and so is ruled out of this game due to concussion protocols.

Mikolaj Oledzki suffered an arm injury at the back end of last week’s victory but is still named in the squad. Could it be mind games or is the England international ready to play?

The Rhinos welcome back Bodene Thompson to the squad. The Kiwi has been out with a rib injury since the victory over Hull KR.

Jack Sinfield also comes into the squad, but it is unlikely the youngster will play.

Should the Rhinos be victorious and be headed to Old Trafford, Rhyse Martin will be back available for selection. The second rower is suspended for this match after a failed appeal.
