Leeds United were finally victorious last weekend as they defeated a lacklustere Watford 1-0 at Elland Road. Marcelo Bielsa took to the media after the game to heap praise on one of his new signings.
Dan James has looked solid since arriving on deadline day from Manchester United, and put in his best performance in a Leeds shirt so far against Watford. Bielsa acknowledged this, saying ‘Every time he plays he plays better than the previous game.’
Bielsa went on to say he feels James will have a bright future at Leeds, ‘He is going to become a special contributor to our team.’
James definitely looks promising so far, with his incredible pace being the more obvious skill in his arsenal. He put in some dangerous looking crosses as well against Watford, and should have won a penalty.
