Leeds United will definitely be in the market for a new center forward in the coming weeks. Daniel Farke has decided on the future of some players this past week, which could see them leave.
One major name is Patrick Bamford; the 31-year old has been informed that he is not in the Leeds boss’ plans. Farke revealed that they had a 1v1 talk to settle the decision.
”I had a really open and honest conversation with him. Patrick knows how much I value him as a player.
He knows how much I rate him as a person so I felt it was my duty to have a very open and honest conversation right now straight away.
Second day of pre-season I told him he wasn’t in my plans for the Premier League season due to the fact he had difficult years in the last years.”
Mateo Joseph is another player who could be on his way out. The 21-year old has asked for a move away from Elland Road.

The Spaniard has been available this summer as the Blues look for a path for his future. Chelsea have opted to send the youngster out on loan, but only to a club in England.
It looks like the Black Cats are set to win the race for the player’s signature.
Leeds United hold interest
Leeds also hold interest in the Chelsea youngster too.
Ben Jacobs reported that the Whites were considering a loan move for the Spaniard.
“I think a loan signing is possible. Marc Guiu at Chelsea is one they’ve looked at as well. They will be doing a few bits. It’s still the middle of July and they’re not panicking.”
Marc Guiu seems not to be a priority
So far, Leeds seem to only be interested in a move for Fulham star Rodrigo Muniz. The Brazilian is still a priority, after the Whites had a bid rejected earlier in the window. Guiu will be low on the list of options, especially considering that the Spaniard has only featured in about 20+ competitive games in his senior career.
guiu yes, muniz no,
Well we ain’t gonna get Muniz if Newcastle have started the bidding at 40m. As for Sunderland, do the recruitment team there just sit on their computers and see the players that Leeds are interested in and make them targets?
