There have been many talented players to come through the ranks at Leeds United in recent years, including England star Kalvin Phillips. However, one talented youngster seems set to leave as Marcelo Bielsa fails to see a future for him at the club.
Niall Huggins is set to leave Leeds United this summer, with many teams throughout the EFL interested in bringing him in. Sunderland are thought to be leading the race as Huggins is allegedly set to have a medical there, but others such as Blackburn are rumoured to have made the 20 year old an offer. If Sunderland could prize a talented youngster away from a club a division above them, that would be some brilliant business.
Huggins did make his Premier League debut last season in Leeds’ 4-2 defeat to Arsenal in February, so to get the Bielsa seal of approval is a massive reference towards his ability and fitness. However, it seems his future won’t be with the West Yorkshire club.
