The Leeds players who could change the January shopping list

Leeds United and Daniel Farke could not have asked for a better start to the season. The Whites sit in fifth place and are unbeaten in the league.

Their only defeat so far has come in the League Cup against Chelsea.

Players have continued where they left off last season, like Dominic Calvert-Lewin. And some of the summer signings have stepped up very early in their Leeds careers.

James Trafford and Tarik Muharemovic look worth the money spent this summer.

The Leeds United players who can change January transfer plans

There is a lot of time between now and January, but clubs would already have one eye on the winter market.

Club chief Robbie Evans has said in the past that Leeds United would ideally try to avoid any business in January. This summer, most of the money was spent on the defence and midfield.

Only two attackers were brought in, and both have yet to hit the ground running.

Leeds could shop in January, but a lot of it would depend on how these current players perform between now and then.

A lot will depend on the German as the January window approaches.

Leeds did not feel a striker was a priority in the summer, opting to stick with Nmecha and Calvert-Lewin for the season. The duo performed really well last year despite their injury problems.

Nmecha’s fitness will be key to whether the Whites make a move for a new centre forward; if he continues to be reliable, he may even earn a new contract down the line.

Harry Wilson

Harry Wilson has been a mixed bag to start the season; he has not been bad but fans are expecting a lot.

One assist to start the season is definitely not the level the midfielder can offer. And he has shown flashes that he can be key to this attacking unit. If he performs at a high level, there would be no need for the Whites to dip into the market in January.

However, if he continues to have a slow start, things might change.

The youngster has been brought in as a high potential young player that the club have hopes for in the future.

Bahoya made his first appearance off the bench before the international break. He is a dynamic forward who can play across the frontline, and is a very good dribbler – something the attack can use.

If his growth improves his chances in the first team, there is no chance the club turns down his buy option.

James has been rumoured to be looking at a potential exit in the coming months.

The news was shut down with a report claiming that the winger is happy where he is. Last season was a poor one for the veteran, and Daniel Farke has already spoken about how much he will be counting on the £25million man this season.
