Leeds United could be handed a huge boost if they win promotion to the Premier League this season.
The last time the Whites reached the Premier League was with Marcelo Bielsa in 2020. Leeds United’s ninth place finish in 2020/21 was one of the best seasons of any promoted team in the last 20 years.
Leeds have cycled through coaches since Bielsa departed in 2022. Jesse Marsch, Javi Gracia and Sam Allardyce all handled the team in the Premier League before the club was relegated.
Leeds appointed Daniel Farke as head coach last season, and only narrowly missed promotion. This year, the whites have geared up for another Premier League charge. Leeds are in third place in the championship, four points behind league leaders Sunderland.
Promotion will bring a lot of benefits to the team; Adidas’ new deal is linked to Leeds United making the Premier league, and the Red Bull group will also inject more funds when the team reaches the top level.

Star winger set to join Leeds United in the Premier League
This summer, the club used sales to fund the signings of key players. Largie Ramazani, Ao Tanaka and Joe Rothwell among other players were brought in to replace Archie Gray, Summerville and Georginio Rutter who left the club.
One player who could return if Leeds are promoted to the Premier League, is Jack Harrison. The winger is on loan at Everton this season. Harrison also spent last season with the toffees, where he scored three goals and provided three assists in the league.
Harrison has proven to be a reliable option at the club, and despite Everton changing managers during his time, he has often been a fixture in the first team.
Will Jack Harrison return?
There is a chance the winger returns to Elland Road in the near future. Everton are still having financial problems with a reported takeover looming. Harrison signed a long term contract with Leeds, and is not leaving on a free transfer any time soon.
But if the toffees do not get enough funds to make the loan deal permanent between January and the summer, Harrison will most likely return to Leeds United. Graeme Bailey explained the situation, speaking to Leeds United News:
“Yeah definitely, Harrison going permanently is something. Leeds didn’t push it too hard because they know Everton aren’t really in that position to do it just yet. But if that takeover gets done as they think it will be, even come January, you could see a permanent deal done for Harrison.”
Daniel Farke is also in the market for another winger who could help Leeds United win promotion this season.
Harrison can f@ck off if he thinks he’s returning to Leeds. No Leeds fans want the traitor back. Only reason he signed a long term contract was because it had a relegation release clause in it
