Leeds United manager Daniel Farke is pleased with the start his side have made this season. They have looked solid and competitive, and appear to be a team who are not going to be pushovers against any side in the Premier League.
The Whites have provided a good account of themselves at the start of the season, with seven points from their opening five league games. However, they did have one bad day against Arsenal as the Gunners smashed them 5-0 at the Emirates last month.
The north London side made Leeds look like a newly promoted team who appeared clueless against a top side who have been title contenders over the last few years.
Farke has tried to brush aside the bad day in north London as an aberration. However, the idiosyncrasies of the Arsenal bench and their coaching staff didn’t escape the Leeds manager’s attention
Daniel Farke takes a swipe at Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal set-piece coach

Arsenal’s set-piece coach, Nicolas Jover, has come into the spotlight since last season, when the Gunners really improved their set-pieces, at both ends of the pitch.
The cameras often point at Jover on the touchline when Arsenal are in set-piece situations as he shouts down instructions. However, Farke is not a big fan of it.
The Leeds manager admitted that he is not in favour of backroom coaching staff attracting the spotlight and the headlines, away from the players.
He feels that too many people are being made into superstars, and they do not deserve the fame, as the players are the ones who make things work on the pitch.
“I don’t like the tendency in every corner to broadcast the name of a set-piece coach”, Farke said in a press conference.
“I don’t believe in this; it should, in general, be my responsibility. We produce some superstars who shouldn’t be in the spotlight. I don’t believe in this so much. I don’t believe in this modern hype.
“For me, the players should be in the spotlight, definitely not someone from the backroom staff.”
