Leeds United are already plotting for the January transfer window, and plans are in place to strengthen the squad in the middle of the season. Daniel Farke wants to add to his team as he feels there are still a couple of holes that need to be plugged.
The Yorkshire giants have made a solid start to life back in the Premier League, with seven points in their first five league games. They are being backed to buck the trend of promoted teams struggling and surviving in the top flight this season.
However, Daniel Farke is aware that there are a couple of holes in his squad that could get exposed later in the season when injuries could stretch his squad, and he wants to bring in two more attackers.
Leeds are looking to bring in an attacking midfielder and a winger in the winter window. However, it seems they are likely to miss out on a top target in January.
Leeds United set to miss out on signing Harry Wilson

Harry Wilson was set to join Leeds on the final day of the transfer window, only for Fulham to change their mind about selling him with minutes left in the window.
Leeds are interested in rekindling their interest in him in the winter window. However, it seems Fulham are confident that he will sign a new contract.
Journalist Graeme Bailey stressed that Wilson was not as close to joining Leeds as they thought, and pointed out that he has been playing regularly.
He doesn’t believe Leeds have much of a chance to sign the winger in January, and feels the Whites should have just signed Emiliano Buendia, Manor Solomon or Josh Sargent towards the end of the summer window.
“I’m not sure exactly how close it was on deadline day, to be honest”, Bailey said on Leeds United News.
“Leeds were getting their hopes up, and it wasn’t particularly that close. Wilson has since been playing a part for Fulham. He started and scored recently.
“I don’t see Leeds having much chance of doing that deal now, you know. After a strong start, Leeds got the last few days of the window all wrong.
“They should have just done [Emi] Buendia, [Manor] Solomon, and [Josh] Sargent.”
