Leeds United have made a strong start to life back in the Premier League, and are looking like a decent bet to survive in the top flight at the end of the campaign. They have looked better than some of the established sides early in the first few weeks.

Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland were early contenders for relegation at the start of the season, but the Whites and the Black Cats have made a solid start to their campaigns, and the Clarets have four teams below them in the Premier League table.
Daniel Farke is aware that in a Premier League season, there will be several twists and turns, and his team will have to deal with stretches of poor form. However, Jamie Carragher feels Leeds and the promoted teams are having a major impact on how their Premier League rivals could react this year.

The Stick to Football gang were talking about Aston Villa and Brentford’s struggles at the start of the season, and how some of the established sides have made a poor start.
Brentford, Aston Villa, West Ham, and Wolves are all established Premier League sides who are occupying the bottom four spots in the Premier League table.
A few of the managers are under pressure, and Carragher admitted that some of the bad promoted teams saved a few jobs in the last few seasons.
However, he feels the fear of relegation for some of these teams this season could be real due to the start Leeds and the other promoted teams have made.
“Is the decision for owners this season different because the promoted teams are doing okay?”, Carragher said.
“I think in the past, they always thought that they would be alright. Even at the start of the season, ten games into the season, some of the promoted teams hadn’t won a game.
“I think that probably saved a few managers in the last few years, but it may go back to the normal, the actual fear of relegation.”
