Raphinha has made Leeds United fans proud by making his Brazil debut during this international break. The Leeds star got 2 assists as a half time substitute in Brazil’s 3-1 victory over Venezuela, and then played well in last night’s game against Colombia.
Brazil teammate Thiago Silva commented on the impact Raphinha has made to the Brazil team, describing the skilful winger as ‘quality’. “The boy’s showed a quality that I have hardly seen in more than ten years with the Brazilian national team. It’s really cool to see Raphinha…showing personality.”
It is good to see Raphinha get some much deserved recognition for how much he has developed over the last year, and we envision plenty more Brazil appearances in the future.
