Leeds United are set to welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Elland Road for a big Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon. However, ahead of their meeting, Spurs have ‘leaked’ their admiration of a certain Whites star who will have to play a big role if the home side are to get a result this weekend.
A few of the new signings have played a major role in helping Leeds make a solid start to life back in the Premier League. Anton Stach, Sean Longstaff and Gabriel Gudmundsson have been the standout players at Elland Road this season.
However, a few of the old guard have also come to the fore to make Leeds a resilient and competitive side in the top flight. Ethan Ampadu has continued to remain a massive influence in midfield, and Joe Rodon’s enduring qualities have made him imperious at the club.
Pascal Struijk has also been a major presence in the team despite speculation over his future in the summer. However, he is still getting linked with a move away from Elland Road.

Journalist Graeme Bailey pointed out that Struijk has proven himself in the Premier League, and Tottenham are among the several clubs that have their eyes on him.
He believes a handful of Premier League teams will make a move for the Leeds defender, with his left-footedness making him an even more attractive option.
“Obviously, he’s started the season very well, and he’s a good age. Well, he’s a very good Premier League player and you know Spurs are one interested but they’re not the only ones”, Bailey told Leeds United News.
“There are a few clubs that are interested. Obviously, being left-footed does come with its own advantages. There’s a handful of teams in the Premier League aware that he hasn’t signed that new deal yet. So it’s going to be interesting.
“Tottenham, if we talk about them, they have a very healthy budget. There’s going to be a lot of teams. What happens if Everton lose Branthwaite? What happens if Forest lose Murillo?”
Leeds were expected to sell Struijk when Villarreal showed an interest in him in the summer, but the club are keen to hold on to their best players.
