The saga between Leeds United and Manor Solomon continues to drag on this summer. Spurs and the club are yet to reach an agreement over anything.
Leeds have concrete interest in Solomon after his impressive campaign on loan. The 25-year old was convinced to join the Whites by Daniel Farke. Over the last year, the Spurs winger had his playing time limited after a major injury. But as soon as he played his first game at Elland Road, the fans saw how good he was.
Solomon had 10 goals and 12 assists in the Championship. The most important goal came on the final day, as he scored the winner in extra time to win the league title.

The 25-year old admitted he was open to a permanent move to Elland Road after his loan deal. Solomon even mentioned that Daniel Farke would play a big part:
“Daniel was one of the decisions [sic] why I joined Leeds, so definitely it could be one of the reasons why I will join Leeds in the summer, why or not,”
The saga has been going on for a while; at a point, Marseille got involved, but opted out of a deal for the Spurs man. Now, The Athletic is reporting that Tottenham have made their decision on the player. Spurs have decided to let go of Solomon as part of a huge summer clear out. This opens the door for a move to Leeds United. But the report indicates that both clubs are still stuck on the fee, with the Whites wanting to pay less than the £15million fee mentioned.
Deal needs to be completed soon
Everything is set for Leeds to complete this deal. The club do know there are multiple areas that need to be addressed and so splashing £15million on one signing is not ideal. However, with rumours of potential sales of players, Leeds may have enough funds to complete the deal.
Illan Meslier has been offered to multiple clubs this week, as the Whites seek a deal for the Frenchman.
